about lexine samuelsLexine Samuels is a screenwriter and published author currently studying Screenwriting for Film & Television at Toronto Film School, Yorkville University.
Her work focuses on psychological storytelling, character-driven narratives, and the internal conflicts that shape behaviour and identity. She is drawn to stories that explore self-perception, emotional tension, and the unseen patterns people struggle to break. Lexine is the author of Trust Me, I’m Lying, a drama-driven novel and the beginning of a larger series. Her transition into screenwriting was supported by mentorship and guidance from industry professionals, including Canadian actor and writer Brandon Firla and writer Kisholay Ray, who recognized the strength of her storytelling voice early in her development. She is currently developing original film and television projects that translate strong thematic ideas into visually compelling stories. Originally from Toronto, Lexine is now based in Aylmer, Ontario, where she continues to develop her work across both literary and screen formats. |
